TJ Brickwork is a successful bricklaying and construction company. Tom Avis first started Bricklaying nine years ago for the well-respected national house building company Barratts Homes. Since then Tom has worked on a self-employed basis for six years in and around the London area, building a very high reputation. He has now gone on to form his own company TJ Brickwork.

TJ Brickwork has had much experience in many projects ranging from house extensions, garden walls, house re-pointing, commercial warehouses, garden landscaping and much more. Please see our Gallery for more ideas on projects we have undertaken.

TJ Brickwork is a North West based operation that works throughout Merseyside, Cheshire, the Wirral and Greater Manchester.

  • Tom re-pointed some brickwork on the front of our house for us. Very polite, punctual and hard working. Came in with a very reasonable quote, and am very happy with the quality of the finish. The brickwork now looks like new. He also left the work area very tidy after he was finished. Would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a tradesman!

  • As a main building contractor, over the years we have used a fair amount of different brick layers, all of which are no comparison to Tom, he gave a very fair price, and once I accepted we agreed a date and time, to which he stuck to. He would turn up early each day, get into the job and get set up, and just work, taking the time out to explain any issues or design alterations rather than just going full steam ahead as many others do, he completed the work in the agreed time frame, tidied up at the end of every day, didn’t use bad language, took pride in his work, everything done was to a high standard…. the list goes on, I will certainly be using Tom on all my future projects!! I would 100% recommend him!
